Getting BSOD every 2-3 days while gaming.
Hello. As you know from a title i get blue screen of death every 2-3 days idk why. One time i got page fault error i fixed it. But now i got something different i got this code today while playing payday 2 driver_irql_not_less_or_equal intelppm.sys.

I don't have many programs on my PC and i never had i only have my drivers installed.
I have only drivers running in the background and msi afterburner and steam. Idk why i'm getting this error.

Specs.
Mobo: Asrock B85m-dgs
GTX 960 2 gb
8 gb DDR3 ram
1TB Hdd
120 gb ssd
i5-4460
Windows 10 pro 64 bit.

I googled it 2 hours straight and found nothing. I can still play games but i don't want to get bsod out of nowhere.

intelppm.sys is a Microsoft Windows Intel CPU driver.

Looks to me like you need to reinstall Windows.

Did you have this issue before reinstalling Windows? If no: something might have gone wrong during the installation.

Would be best to create a new bootable Windows 10 flash drive and reinstall. Do not use your Windows install disk or a bootable flash you already made, something might be wrong with it.

Did you install all your drivers: Chipset, GPU, sound, LAN etc..

When i builded pc 1 year ago i didn't builded it i was noob then so expert installed windows for me aswell i started to learn about pc. And 1 month ago i started to get blue screens but i was ignoring them because they weren't that bad lol. 2 weeks ago i couldn't even boot in to the safe mode i was getting bsod so i reinstalled windows seems everything fixed for me. Then downloaded some games everything was working. And now i started to get bsod again. Like you said about new bootable flash drive yes i changed it.+ Those windows are cracked. Maybe because of that i'm getting bsod? I think tomorrow i will reinstall my windows and i will check if it get bsod again. Now created a media from microsoft on my usb legal one and i think i will be good to go if you need screenshots i can take it from my pc how it looks like. And it looks clean tbh.

Yes i installed all of those drivers ofc :D

Weird thing is that i only get BSOD while i play a game. When i google or smth or i listen to the music everything is ok. And i only get bsod every 2-3 days according to windows reliability history.

^This makes me think either you are installing something on your PC that breaks Windows or there is something wrong with a driver. But it could also be a hardware issue CPU, mobo or SSD/HDD maybe.

DEAMON tools installs spyware on your system.
Use Virtual CloneDrive instead.

UTorrentz also comes with malware, and I assume you are pirating so you are also downloading a lot a crap on your system.

So yeah you are installing trash on your system.

Both Utorrentz (And most other torrent programs) install malware on your system and so does DEAMON tools.

Google it if you want proof.
Thank you i will uninstall those programs because i don't use them that much. I will report there if i get bsod ever again. Should i download malwarebytes to check everything? I only needed it to get office and that was it.
I doubt the BSODs will go away.

You should always have Malwarebytes installed in my opinion.

I use Avast Free antivirus. If i download malwarebytes to check for problems they will not conflict?

Nope, Malwarebytes is made to run besides other AV programs.

try reinstalling win 10 again.
install all motherboard drivers and reboot if prompted.
install your favorite programs and games last.

He never mentioned updating the BIOS.

Updating the BIOS is completely safe. Unless you pull the power cable out of the PC while it is updating the BIOS.
