My Laptop FPS is going down while not charging!
Uhmm I have a Asus ROG laptop that goes extremly down in fps while is on his own without charging! It goes from 100 FPS to 30 FPS! I tried to find something but nothing works!
I have a:
Processor:I7
Graphics Card:GeForce 965m
RAM:16 GB

Win 10

Go to windows power management and set it to "High Performance", the framerate should stop dropping so extremely but battery will drain much faster.

If it stays at 30 FPS and only 30 FPS, then I believe it was capped.

My brother has a Lenovo Legion Y520 with a GTX 1050 (mobile so weaker than desktop variant even though there's no M) and an i5-7300HQ. He used a setting in Geforce Experience that made the FPS of any game cap at 30 FPS when the laptop is running on battery.

so try looking into your geforce experience to check for any settings related to that...

Yes you are rght the battery drains faster but the FPS is still 30
