gaming pc might be making a faint chirping sound
i would describe it as a faint squeaking sound or faint chirping noise. I THINK its my gaming pc not sure. anyway today i unplugged my fridge, turned off my pc and unplugged that and i did not hear anything. when i started my pc back up, i heard the faint chirping sound twice already. should i have my friend look at it or is this just harmless and annoying at worst? if its my pc what is the noise? the squeaking or chirping nosie gets louder sometimes

Nothing to worry about, one of the fans might be going bad.

While the PC is turned on stop the fans by putting your fingers in the center of them that way try to identify which one of making the noice.

It could also be coil whine comming from the GPU or the PSU. Coil whine is not a fun sound but it's nothing to worry about it won't harm your PC.

Could also be the HDD but I doubt it.

you can remove power connector to pc case fan one at a time to rule it out as cause.

strange noises from pc may come from:
hard disk drive
pc case fan (edited, added "fan" )
cpu fan
psu fan
psu coil whine

an extra pair of eyes is always good, specially if it is free. ;)
