Turtle Beach Recon 60P For The PS4 Claims PC compatability
Looking to upgrade from my P12 to the 60P, like the P12, the 60P claims it will work with the PC via a 3.5mmjack, But people claimed the P12 worked for chat via USB, yet I can only get sound to come through it via USB and the microphone does not work, and the Mic Jack does not work at all.

Can anyone who has this Headset confirm if it can be used for sound *and* chat on the PC, or if it essentially becomes MP3 type headphones?

Having a higher model number does not mean it is better..

Headsets like that will need a adapter that will work with them that's supported on pc. Sorry but both p12 & 60p are going to be the same since they both use the same single jack, which again need a adapter to split them up, into two channels.

Check out headsets like Logitech g430, it comes with a USB adapter which works with PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox one.

Thanks for informing me, I truly had no clue of what I was purchasing, and was merely buying it for the number, I definitely didn't compare the two at all!

Thanks, its a little bit above what I normally prefer paying for a headset, but since it can work with all devices, I'll definitely consider it
