Antlion modmic vs v moda boom pro

I recently bought a beyerdynamic dt 990 pro with a fiio e10k. Now i need a Microphone and pretty mutch every internet page says the modmic is the ultimate microphone but its pretty expensiv ~€60. Now my Question in some test i heard about the Moda boom it sound pretty good and is just half of the price but does it realy need a headset with 3,5mm or can i just fix it to my dt990 with some ducktape ? ^^
