Mouse for very small hands
• Hand is 6" (15.24 cm) from the crease where wrist bends to tip of middle finger
• Bought Razer Lachesis years ago – causes wrist pain. Too long and hump too high, my fingers don't get close to the end
• Left-handed, but ambidextrous mouse is not a necessity – can adapt to anything but pain
• Currently mainly console gamer but want to return to playing mainly on computer
• Mouse must be available in Canada. Unfortunately, CM mice made for claw grip don't seem to be easy to get

I did a bit of research of various mice that have been suggested for small hands on sites and that is summarised in this table (not all the details about features are complete; this is mainly for size comparison). The mouse at the top (Lachesis) with orange cells indicates what doesn't work for me, which I'm measuring all mice against. Red cells mean the mouse has been ruled out due to size. For the ones not ruled out: Red font = longer, Green font = medium, Blue font = shorter. This just helps to quickly scan for mice with traits substantially smaller than what I know doesn't work.

Please let me know your experiences with these mice that haven't been ruled out. Suggestions of other mice are welcome as long as they are small and available in Canada (or easily imported.) Thanks!

***PLEASE contextualise your experience by citing your hand length (or your gf's or whosever hand it is) in inches or cm***

Yep they're on my table (Zowie). Two of the ones that have been recommended for small hands are actually listed on the site as Medium (FK2 and EC2a) whereas the ZA13 is listed as Small. But the Medium FK2 is low profile while the Small ZA13 is high profile, so I'm not sure which would work better.

DeathAdder's specs list it as 127 mm / 5 in (Length) x 70 mm / 2.76 in (Width) x 44 mm / 1.73 in (Height). Approximate weight: 105 g / 0.23 lbs. Thats way too long, high, and heavy for me, unfortunately.

The anywhere mx series is great, I use the bigger one at work.

I also have small hands, I use a Razer Imperator 4G. Gamdias Demeter GMS 5000 also comes in my mind if we are by small mice.

I don't know how you're thinking of using too right-hand-ergonomic mice like Roccat Kone Pure. They're probably too assymmetrical for you with your left hand.

I don't want to read the whole thread... but a few highlights caught my eye.

What about a small Razer?
Razer Orochi
https://www.razerzone.com/eu-en/gaming-mice/razer-orochi
Approximate size: 99 mm / 3.90 in (Length) x 67 mm / 2.64 in (Width) x 35 mm / 1.38 in (Height)

Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/anywhere-mouse-mx-p
Mouse Dimensions (height x width x depth): 2.48 in (63 mm) x 3.56 in (90.5 mm) x 1.36 in (34.5 mm)
^ No I don't believe the "height x width x depth" are in the right order.

have you tried a mad catz rat8, the mouse is fully adjustable both length and width

I've got fairly small hands myself, and I've had the Logitech G203 Prodigy since a while ago. It has become the best mouse I've ever had for its price. Good build quality, not too big, and aesthetically pleasing.

The G203/Pro and the G302 which is slightly smaller are def on my list. Would you mind measuring your hand from wrist crease to middle finger tip with a ruler? Those mice have a higher profile so I'd feel a lot more confident buying it if your hand is about the size of mine. Thanks!

I can't find any info on the minimum size and weight of that mouse - do you know? The listed weight is quite heavy, and I'm wary of buying a $100 mouse that's no longer supported cuz the company is defunct.

Yep I read through the thread and had ruled some out based on it (the girl returned a few.) I'm worried these travel mice might be *too* small because they're intended for portability rather than comfort, and ideally I'd like a wired mouse for best response and not having to worry about batteries. I will have a look at local stores though and see if I can find a display Orochi or AnywhereMX, thanks.

I can use my right hand. I've had to most of the time when not using my personal computer. I just prefer left while gaming because it's my dominant, plus wsad are not aligned and drive me nuts. I like the arrow keys. But handedness isn't as important as other factors.

Really?? That's a big mouse. 12.3 cm long, 4.3 cm high, and 139g. What size are your hands, wrist crease to middle finger tip?

I can't find any ruler anywhere right now. No idea where my measuring tape went either. But last time I checked I believe my hands were around 17 cm (or around 6.7 inches) long, which isn't too big for Dutch people (apparently).

The mouse I'm using is really comfortable though! Especially if you claw grip. It took me a week or so to get really used to it, but after that it's been super nice. I'm not you though, so you might feel differently.

Logitech g300s, its a decently small mouse
Talby 14 aug, 2017 @ 8:10
Have to vouch for the Roccat Lua, got one for my son a couple of years ago he says it's the most comfortable mouse he has used to date - he's 13 now and wears an S Mens glove. Works for me too (claw grip, size M in mens glove)...
