Admit it, you want it.

This brand is DeepCool; avoid them at all costs.

If you want a good LQ types; look at EVGA, CORSAIR, NZXT, EKWB

They are cheap, worse quality but cheap. 240 Captain EX cost about the same as NH-D15, perform similar to NH-D15 albeit at high noise, crap quality, leak, dead pump everwhere BUT they do have 1 year warranty.

Its LIQUID! Doing cheap is not an option; if you think its a good idea, well I surely would hope not.

Would u recommend a no-name China PSU? I don't think so.

Play it safe with an air cooler, LQ should not be tried to be done on lower budgets.

AIO has gone a long way, even cheap products like Deepcool do not break down that often. Corsair is quite overrated nowadays, they no longer have performance crown as many like FractalDesign or big custom loop producer like Thermaltake/EKWB now get into the AIO market.

"My hardware died but it does not matter I had a 1 year warranty on the cooler so at least I got a new AIO.." : P

Yep, every AIO or even custom loop liquid carry the risk of leak. Even Corsair does NOT cover for leak damage, they do it because they are good but if they want to it is NOT covered under warranty. So they can stop doing it at any time they want, quite a common misconception that Corsair cover for hardware leak. They cover for the AIO only.

I never assumed Corsair covered hardware damage. I didn't even think that any AIO manufacturer did.

What I was trying to say is: When buying a AIO don't go cheap. When you buy cheap you buy twice (In this case you will buy a whole new rig when you go cheap).

Lots of people still buy Deepcool, I think the whole leak thing is overblown atm. AIO has come a long way, it is minimal risk nowaday even cheapo Chinese no name brand.

Would I recommend it based on quality? NO. But OP want a white theme cooler and this is the best looking white theme cooler out there, bar none. Seriously, unless you mod.

I did some pretty extensive research about a year and a half ago and found that the best AIO's at the time (Corsair) were very similar in capability to the best air coolers, basically within 1-2 degrees. I'm sure they've gotten better, and that gap has likely increased some, but for me, the very minimal increase in cooling isn't worth the extra cost and risk. Unless you just like the look, there's not much point in water cooling unless you go all out.

Then just get a WHITE air cooler + fan.
Phanteks has them, they are just as good as those sizes from Noctua; and they come anodized in certain colors; Black, White, Blue, Red... and have a solid color fan to match those that you buy in those colors.

That is a common misconception. Corsair is far and wide no longer the best AIO, tons of manufacturer surpassed it heavily. In fact Corsair AIO have always been kind of mediocre WHILE it does indeed beat Noctua at the expense of sounding like a Jet engine, the good thing is it is AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE AND BACKED BY GOOD WARRANTY. Even crappy Coolermaster Master Liquid beat Corsair.

Fractal Desgin new AIO win any Air cooler hands down. Unfortunately, Air cooler is heavily limited by its available real estate and is not improving as fast as AIO. Hopefully Coolermaster can come up with something, it is the ONLY company currently invest in making a different approach to air cooling with closed loop heatpipe and 3DVC. Right now, Air cooler (HSF) has hit a wall in performance, AIO does not.

It was kind of OK when we have 4 core i7 as the mainstream hot CPU. Now that both AMD and Intel are focusing on HEDT then AIO is gaining a lot of advantage.

As I said, it was 1.5 years ago, so it's not surprising that others have caught up and even surpassed Corsair. At the time, though, they were the ones that kept coming up over and over everywhere I looked as a recommendation for the best AIO, and they were the ones that were doing the best, or at least consistently one of the best, in benchmarks.

That's an interesting point about the newer CPUs changing the landscape of things, but I wonder if it really makes a difference like you suggest. The newer CPUs are faster and in some cases have more cores, sure, but their TDP is the same or even lower. The only way to know for sure would be to look at up-to-date benchmarks. Still, there's absolutely no reason to go watercooling for a non-OC i7, much less an i5, unless just for looks.
Bad 💀 Motha 11 AGO 2017 a las 20:08
Actually, you can take any AIO on the market and compare it bang for buck and cooling performance to an H110i or H115i; you will see very little reason to buy other AIO units.

I'm pretty happy with my Noctua NH-U12SE. Keeps my 1600X at a cool 27c at idle while being completely inaudible (BIOS displays 47c, but as I have an "X" chip there's a 20c offset of what's being displayed and what the temperature actually is)

While it is a light brown, it's so close to white that it's hardly noticable.
