In Games use a form of Sync method, either VSync, or a Sync mode from your GPU Control Panel. Display Cables don't make lines, they are digital, they either work, or they don't.
Use DisplayPort for 144Hz
oh and I'm already using display port
DP has a distinct "click" and release tab. Please ensure the DP connection clicks into place on both your Display and GPU.
Enable 144Hz and RGB = Full from within NVIDIA Control Panel.
Check the Menu on the Monitor itself for other options.
Also ensure the menu on the monitor is not on any DEMO Mode; this is usually how Monitors come by default, so they are always on a demo mode for displaying purposes.
DO NOT twist, sharply bend, or kink a Display cable of any kind, to avoid damaging it.
If you have long amounts of access cable, circle it up a bit, like you would an outdoor hose, then velcro-strap or otherwise secure the extra cable.
Cables of this sort without ferrite core are useless IMHO. They should always have that, to block interference. Try another DP Cable and/or try a different DP port on the GPU.
Firstly, the simple things... then I would suggest looking at that brands Support or Forum section.
Remember, you have a return policy from the place of purchase; after that, the Warranty from AOC. However if this does turn out to be an actual screen defect, it should be returned or replaced quickly, so you are not turned away. For example, most places/sellers and brands, have a policy such as: "Will not replace or cover the screens warranty for dead pixels below this amount" things of that sort...
As sometimes, a dead pixel or two, could have easily been a result of the hardware being poorly stored in hot or cold, or how it was transported. But to cover their butts, the stores and even the branded company will generally just not cover screens for an extremely low defect like a few dead pixels.
