1. Where do I *legally* buy a Windows 10 Product Key?
I want to get Windows 10 Home, but I don't see the option to get a legal product key anywhere on Microsoft's website (Just ads for SurfaceBooks and questions). I know I can use Windows 10 unactivated, but I don't want to deal with Windows nagging me to activate it and I want all the features.

2. Is it safe the update the BIOS AFTER I install Windows on a new PC?
Most Ryzen build/install guides show the builder installing the BIOS before installing Windows, but since I may not have the ability to do that (Only 1 Flash drive that I'd need to clear after installing Windows), I'm going to have to update the BIOS after getting Windows.

Now there's yet another issue:

The "Creating Windows 10 Media" screen has been stuck at 50% for about an hour now.

Is this normal? My connection isn't the best, but its connected and stable. Could something else be happening?

It didn't freeze. Every other program (Chrome, etc) works normally.

The "Media Creation" tool isn't on the USB despite the fact that I set it to go there (Yes, it IS FAT32. I double checked that)

If you want to help ensure that re-running media creation tool wont be an issue; navigate to C Drive (ensure hidden folders are off in Folder Options) and then you should see two folders with names starting with $Windows; delete both of these folders prior to re-running the media creation tool. Just in case the download was corrupted.

No you never run the media creation tool from usb; you run it from C Drive or other local disk drive. When selecting "USB" in the tool, this will partition and format the usb flash drive as FAT32 already and make it bootable.

Doesn't matter what file system it uses. MCT will wipe and repartition it.

Yes, correct. Delete them. Then when you re-run the media creation tool, it will be ensuring the tool is redownload the OS fresh. Cause if the download was corrupt, you'll just run into the same issue over and over again.

Might help to set the system to High Performance; since it is a Laptop, it might try to go to sleep if on Balanced or Power Saving
