What to upgrade in my pc?
Hi lads,

Don't really know much about computers so I will do my best to provide necessary information. I want to upgrade my PC so I can run games like PUBG at higher FPS etc. What part/parts are really lacking and slowing me down at the moment?

My Computer details are (its a pryon computer):
MSI A88XI AC (MS7913) 1.0 (Motherboard stuff)
AMD A10-7850K Radeon R7, 12 Compute Cores 4C+8G 3.70 GHz
RAM: 16.GB DDR3 1866Mhz OC Memory
AMD A10 Elite Quad Core
AMD Radeon R7 Graphics + R7 200 Dual Graphics (Core clock: 1100 MHz)
I have it connected to LG LCD/LED LCD TV through HDMI (dont know any more specs for this)

When I am running games the temp GPU temps are usually around 60-70 and CPU runs at around 90%.
Any suggestions on what to upgrade and what to would be great. Also would you recommend getting a proper monitor or is running it off a TV usually ok?
Thanks,

Short version: CPU & GPU are outdated, wouldn't spend money on a upgrade.
And for gaming, aim for a decent monitor.

What's your budget btw.?
Ah ok, is upgrading CPU & GPU too costly? Or not worth it as my PC isn't that great?
I haven't really decided on a budget, just wanting some suggestions and opinions, but wouldn't spend over $1000.

Not worth, coz outdated hardware.
Spend the money on a newer rig
For example kabylake i5 + 1060 6gd5

~ $890 *optional i5k and a z270 Mainboard, but only if u wanna do overclocking.

Not worth it. New CPU and GPU both need a new Socket which means a new MoBo. Also those new Motherboards require DDR4 tho you could use you DDR3 could be used with Z270 MoBo but is not advised.

So in the end it runs to a new system tho you could re-use your optical drive, HDD/SSD andy maybe PSU and Case. If you have a license sticker on the case (Windows 7 or better) dont throw it away.

Ok, thanks guys, I probably won't be getting a new PC anytime soon so I guess I will just have to run with it.
what you could do tho is already buying a GTX 1060 6GB. You cant use it at full performance but you could keep using it when you upgrade the rest.

Will already be a significat upgrade in performance.
Upgrading the graphics card alone to something halfway decent would make a large difference, even with the weak CPU.
PUBG needs a strong CPU, mostly due to lack of optimization, due to early access and such.

Nothing AMD FM2 runs games "well" anymore.

The best CPU on FM2 is only as good as Intel 6th Gen Pentium...

Most older Mobile CPUs run circles around those FM2 CPUs.

A10 is AM3+ isnt it?

FM2+ actually
oh yeah right. Luckily A12 jumped on the AM4 train tho it is a misconception with Ryzen and Intel G4560 imo.
Ryzen-3 1200 or 1300X are on-par with 6th Gen / 7th Gen i3 series
By far are all miles ahead of anything offered on FM2/FM2+ socket.

yeah but also incl MoBo prices on a price catogory of an i5 in many countries...
