Logitech K800 - Mid Game Stutters
Had this problem with World of Warcraft, never got far with a solution, then kinda vanished for a year until I started playing DOOM that I just got.

Basically, most days it's totally fine. But, sometimes it'll happen and happen often. I'll be holding down something like W to move forward and character stops moving, same with A, S, D... it's as if the keyboard signal was cutting in/out, yet I'll plug it in and it's 100% charged, I'm 4' at most from the logitech receiver, it's not iR so not a case of something blocking the signal, if more like a bluetooth usb plug that comes with it. Tried different USB slots, tried making sure no other apps running, and well of course a reboot but being intermittent, it's hard to tell if a reboot fixed it, or if it just doesn't feel like doing it.

I have seen other posts on forums dating back a few years even about the same issues with Logitech wireless keyboards, and alwasy the same basic advice of reboot, install updated drivers, run virus scan... and of course, it never does anything.

Anyone on here ever come across this issue? More important, a fix?

I heard some of those keyboards from Logitech disable those shortcuts as a way to get you to buy their expensive gaming keyboards.

But for the most part I don't think there's a fix for it.

If the fault is from the keyboard itself, there is little you can do but get a different one.

don't use a wireless keyboard for gaming.

You said you tried different USB slots. Where were they located? It could be a signal interference issue, and moving from one slot to another on the back of the mobo likely wouldn't change anything. I'm using a slot on top of my case for this very reason.

At the rear... moved it (again) from the bottom 2.0 slot to the very top 3.0 USB slot, so, top/back of the case now, different port and different USB controller. My next step was actually moving to the front.

I thought I had it figured out, because noticed my media server has issues with the Rii wireless keyboard when the fan was on. Large fan on the floor for keeping me cool, not a PC fan. Turn that off and the Rii was fine. Thought, hey, I had issues last summer, woulda had the same fan running... but then early in the week I had the fan off and keyboard started to stutter.

Last year when I had the issue, I also plugged the keyboard in with the USB and didn't fix it. However, I never did unplug the wireless controller when I tried that so no idea if the signal was going through USB or the wireless. I'll test that next time it happens, if it happens being plugged into USB3.0.

Nope... found a few posts that the K800 won't work wired to USB without the wireless part connected. Bit of a dumb design really.

But... I'm not a gamer, and this is a great keyboard as far as typing/feel goes so, getting rid of it will only happen if/when it ever dies. :D
