http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-4770K-vs-AMD-FX-9590/1537vs1812
still want to argue about it? it doesnt even beats it in multicore application because FX archtecture is simliar to HT 4c/8t. And in games thanks to optimization and other problems it didnt even come close...
(you cannot overclock it enough to be on par with i3 with cheap cooler and if you want to buy super cooler, it would be cheaper to buy lowest i5 which will be faster than any Ryzen 3 in all cases)
And Ryzen 3 obviously has worse price/performance ratio than i3. Even much worse. Ryzen 1200 costs the same as i3 7100 (!!!).
But customer should be complete no-brainer to choose this AMD CPU over i3. Ryzen 3 useless for gaming, because its too slow and useless for office PCs because it has no graphic core.
But, as I said, almost nobody also needs i3.
But yeah Ryzen costs more as I expected, especially when I take it has no graphics core. Im a Geforce girl, but would have liked a Radeon integrated backup - just in case anything happens.
Plus you need expensive mobos and memory to Ryzen so that adds even more to costs. Lets say directly - A320 is so gimped that is not even funny. While by Intel you can put i7 to cheapest mobo.
Indeed, Ryzen @ 3.7 GHz is relatively equal to Ryzen 1300X @ stock speed and we know that 1300X is slower in the games.
And I'm not sure about 3.7GHz with stock cooler. To be precise, I highly doubt.
But overclockers wrote they were able to reach 3.9GHz with Noctua. Try to calculate cost of Ryzen 3+Noctua combo and you will get i3 performance for i5 cost. Not a very attractive deal.
This is a fantasy, this has never happened. It competed with i3.
