DRAM Voltage: 1.35500
Timings
CAS# Latency (CL) : 16
RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD): 19
RAS# Precharge (tRP): 19
Cycle Time (tRAS): 36
Leave the rest of the timings on AUTO and "Save & Exit"
See how that does. With some RAM you may need to change "Command Rate" in Timings to 2T, instead of 1T
Got this message at boot

Current cpu speed : 3.503.96MHz
Current BCLK: 100.10MHz
Current Memory speed: 2135.65MHz
I'm not overclocking My CPU it's at stock
Did you get it to work the Rock God?
I was googling around trying to find any specific issues with your mobo (which is how I found out what was causing mine). All I can guess is something with one of the other settings for the multipliers for the memory.
See if this is of any use to you:

With the timings
16
19
19
36
With voltage 1.35 for the Dram then saved and booted up it went to my desktop this time - so I've just booted up CPU-Z
it says the DRAM frequency is 1499.7MHz (this is doubled isn't it?)
With NB Frequency at 3099.3MHz
I can see the timings are 16,19,19,36
I don't want to jump the gun here BUT does this mean my Ram now running at 3000MHz??
Just want to say thankyou to everybody that has contributed to helping me you've all been awesome 👍🏻
Being as thats the case, id possibly return the RAM and get something a little lower, just in case.
Not to mention, none of the tested RAM for those boards is that high, 2400 is the highest shown in the QVL
Hi there thanks for the message - I can't return the ram as I've had it a few months now and can't find the packaging anywhere - sorry to sound an idiot but what is the QVL?
To be honest I've just had my computer repaired and mobo swapped out the board the shop replaced my old board with this gigabyte X99 gaming P5 Board it wouldn't have been my personal choice if I'm honest but it will have to do until Christmas.
Where are you reading about the QVL?
I was thinking about overclocking the cpu slightly to help with the OC - do you think that will help ? I mean if I can only get the 3000MHz well to be honest I'll leave it at that but I do want to try and get my stock speed - does anybody else have this board ?
Products that are tested to be compatible
And its on the boards support section.
What CPU do you have? unless i missed it i didnt see you specify what you have
If 3000mhz is stable then go with that, you wont notice the difference.
Thankyou very much for the speedy response I appreciate it.
My Cpu is an i7 6800k
I'm reading here ->
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-X99-Gaming-5P-rev-10#ov
That it supports up to 3400MHz DDR4
Hi Ugafan,
Would you not even try?
And should I OC my cpu a bit ?
