Question about Motherboard
So I'm looking into buying a new motherboard for my PC. I'm very new to PC building and I'm not too sure on what board is a great option. I was hoping that someone can give me advice on what would be a great motherboard for an entry level PC gamer? I found this one on Amazon but I'm not sure if it is a good deal. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MR32WT2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
Should I but this one or am I making a mistake and there is a better board out there for me?

First thing first what CPU are you going to use?
Best bet is decide which CPU & RAM you plan to use; then choose Motherboard.
If you're aiming for say 7600K or 7700K; then you want Motherboard with LGA-1151 Socket. Z270M (Micro ATX) or Z270 (ATX) Chipset... and DDR4, at least 2400Mhz RAM
For Intel generally every mobo is good from the 4 big brands.
Just note that B250 will be limited to 2400RAM and to me that deal looks a bit much for a mere B250 chipset. Of course its gaming and looks cool and all, but is just the same as most B250 mobos are.
Best bet is get Z270 Chipset; if you need it to be Micro ATX, then look at
MSI Z270M MORTAR

B250 Chipset is fine, if all you are going to use is Locked CPUs and DDR4-2400
But I wouldn't pay that much for any B250 Motherboard, as it would be rather pointless when you can get a decent Z270 board for around that pricing. Why limit yourself to a lower chipset.

If not worried about overclocking get a gaming board with best NIC and sound at bang for buck price
Thank you all for your advice. I just have one more question. As long as the Board I buy says ATX and the Case I get says ATX then the board's port holes should match up correctly with the case's?

yes, but even matx, itx etc. would fit in a atx case.

There is no "Gamer" hardware, it's a marketing joke. You want to overclock?
Yes: get a Z board (example: Z270 Z170 etc.)
No: get any board, for example UD3
If you need some decent sound you can get a Asus Maximus Ranger mainboard.
All you need is to read a bit about PCs. Google just "Mainboard Sound" etc.
I had 10 motherboards over 300Euros and none of these had a better Ping or anything what would help while "gaming"...
So how come most of the b150's are for micro-ATX? I was looking to get an ATX version but the only reasonable one I could find was this one.

And it isn't even new, it's used. Do I need to get a Micro?
