What did you ended up using?
Then get a bowl of warm water with some dish washing detergent. Place all the keys into that.
While they are soaking, wipe down the keyboard itself.
Then take each key out, rub clean, soak again, and place on a towel to dry.
When all the keys are dried, by air or wiping, place them back into the keyboard in the correct layout.
Enjoy your brand new keyboard.
