I7 870 with AIO Cooler is worth it?

im chaning case for temps because our country on summer aimbient temp is too high that makes my cpu almost around 90c when it load[its even on stock]

and theres aio cooler available on 1156 Socket that i would choose from

is it worth it?

yes/no, u can get the same result with a decent air cooling setup.
What's your case? And also post your specs.

i7 870 right now on stock clock 3.0ghz
RX470 NITRO OC+ 4G
4GX2 single channel[because mobo broke when i was install a aftermarket air cooler]

case is right now isnt on stock is just simple case that PSU up on top
and single 80mm fan back

reason i want get aio is i already said i jsut broke dual channel ram slot by installing an air cooler

Uhm,after breaking the ram while installing a simple cooler, do u think Aio is the best solution? ..

it was just simple after market air cooler that push pin installation

and this case from korea so most of description is korean

If that single 80mm fan is the only fan in the case I'd say you need a new case with a front fan intake and rear exhaust at the least, I don't think enough air is moving through there. Are you able to install another fan up front?

this case support 120mm fan in front intake that i dont know about i just got a 80m fan at near graphics card but it did help RX470 cool but cpu not so much


but this case is old and i had budget with aio cooler

the i7 870 outputs low performance and much heat. Basicly todays i3 6xxx can be cooled with a passive cooler and have the same or better performance output :)

get a better pc case (bottom-mounted psu) + 120mm case fans (top, back, front)

i had a enough budget to go with the case that i choose is cheap and multiple fan install place or 2slot aio cooler available
