Is AMD FX-7500 APU ? Will it work with dual graphics ?
I just ordered a notebook with R7 M260DX and FX-7500 with integrated R7 GPU i heard someting you can enable using both gpus. but only with certain models, so i ask as an unexperienced user if its bossible with this combo. Thanks

No you can't use both GPUs except games that use Directx 12 might support it, if they support it the game will automatically use both GPUs. But I doubt that it will work all that well.

Well as for laptops you always have to use the iGPU as the GPU is connected to it. So no way of really turning it off and mostly it will not run in Dual Graphics which is btw the better way because otherwise you would be stuck on the VRAM of the iGPU and second get alot of shattering because of the different speeds.

Do make sure that you set the 2nd GPU as the preferred GPU to maximize your performance.

Well to explain how dual graphics work:

GPU 1: Calculates frame 1
GPU 2: Calculates frame 2
GPU 1: Calculates frame 3
GPU 2: Calculates frame 4

As your iGPU is far slwoer the GPU would have to wait until the iGPU is finished. As your GPU is greatly faster it would be a slow down to use dual graphics.

okay thanks i just saw this video its possible to create hybrid crossfire with the APU and GPU.
so im just wondering if its really possible with my laptop.

Only works with that GPU/Intergrated GPU combo.

yes but there we talk about an A-APU not a FX with a GPU outclassign any iGPU (despite HD 520/HD 630)
