RAM: battery removal

I'm trying to upgrade the RAM in my laptop but i dont have the right screwdriver to take out the screws securing the battery. Its almost shaped like a star or an asterisk on a keyboard.

Usually you can unplug the battery without removing it. What laptop do you have?

If you can't remove the battery just install the new RAM without unplugging the battery, but I advice against doing so.

Dell inspiron 7559, the cable is exposed but i have to use force to pull it out, and the cable is tucked under "pins"

I have successfully installed the new memory. Is there any important stuff I have to do after booting up besides pressing continue? It says dual channel 16gb so am I done? Or can i just start playing games xD
