750ti without 6 pin connectors?
Hello, i want to get a gtx 750ti but the thing is it can't have cables ( 6 pin connectors ) because my old psu doesn't support it. I don't wanna buy a new psu andi have heard some models of the 750ti don't actualy require any cables ( some people say on forums that you can just plug it in on your mobo and you are good to go ) do you guys know if this is true? and if it is what models don't actually require external power?

Get a 1050Ti instead, they require no extra power.

Or if the GTX 1050 Ti is too pricey for you, look for GTX 950 LP 75W
Those versions of GTX 950 that require no extra PCIE GPU power connectors.

1050 Ti such as the models below are also 75W Max TDP.

For what i have seen so far the 950 isn't mutch faster so no point there and please, if you are not going to help me, don't leave comments. I don't want and i can't affort a better graphics card dude omg. My question is about the 750 ti needing external power or not, i don't need you to tell me what graphics cards are better. same thing happened on the toms hardware forum, it's hard to get help when people keep deviating from the point of the question.

Please respect other members of the community. All we are saying is that you should get a 1050Ti instead as it is a much better card to spend your money on.

The point trying to make is you are asking about dead hardware.
There is no point looking for such hardware.
750 Ti can't handle 1080p games very well; the 950 and 1050 Ti can.

GTX 950 2GB averages around 40-50 FPS on Extreme Preset in Unigine Heaven.
750 Ti will not come anywhere close to where most games are very playable above Low/Med if you are using 1080p

Overall, either 950 or 1050 Ti is a good bet. If you look around for those 950, can find them under $100 range.

I wasn't disrespecting anybody and i have already said that i can't afford a 1050ti How can you assume i have enought money to spend on a 1050ti anyway? Don't you think i know the 1050 ti is a better card? I just can't afford it. all i am saying is get to the point of the question. I don't wanna know about other cards. I was asking if the 750ti requires extra power or not. i wasn't asking what budget card i should get.

Fair enough. So you are buying from within UK, yes?
What is your max budget range for the GPU, in GBP?

'i can't afford a 1050ti'

Then save up for a bit longer.
