Nice looking case but the Noctua NH-U14S will not fit.

I'll be staying on X58 for a couple more years, but I'm still interested to see how R5 does in reviews and how they stack up against the i5 6000/7000 series.
1400X is listed as 199$ in US and it costs here ~263€.
So 1600X should be close to ~308€. Not a huge difference between 1600X and 1700X then (not to mention 1700).
However these are "demand" prices. Just like 1700X 459->388€, they will go down over the month.

They asked me then i i had bought it or if i found it on road why i have kept it for so long ! Then 4 months later they sent me as present this new one case the aero aero cool 800. Since then i stopped using the old legacy case. And you know what? I havent found someone to sell it yet!!
Who knows.

i5 7400, 4C, 3.0-3.5 GHz is 1899.
i5 7500, 4C, 3.4-3.8 GHz is 2094.
i5 7600K, 4C, 3.8-4.2 GHz is 2485.
i7 7700K, 4C, 4.2-4.5 GHz is 3590.
Doubt there's no obvious winner around 2000.
Ryzen 5 1600 vs i5 7600K? Neither comes with a cooler.
I assume they clock very similarly and with the 1600X one pay more and lose the cooler.. Not really a great deal.. But it's faster stock and doesn't require overclocking to perform well / close to the best.
1600X vs 1700, lots more money for what may very well be a worse gaming processor without overclock, include the fan though, vs the 1600 the difference is even larger though, same cooler on those two too.
1700 is cheaper than the 7700K. Not much single-core performance gained paing the extra for 1700X and one lose the cooler, higher clock on all cores though and that comes with the higher TDP and possible usage/need of a better cooler.
Looking at the clock 1700 and 1600 seem more comparable, 1000 SEK discount dropping two cores, worth it I guess.
1600X more similar to 1800X, 1600 SEK more for two more cores. Most likely not worth it for games.
Now with the X299 news I don't know.. Again. And of course the i7 7700K is better for games as we know.
1600, 1600X, 1700 or 1700X, what to choose?
I already have a NH-U12 so if one ignore the cooler then of course the 1600, 1600X or 1700X, 1600X to 1700X is just 1100 SEK and almost the same price / core. Unlikely any better performance in games but two more cores for other tasks and that's nice of course.
I assume X299 won't sell 8 core processors for 6800K prices / Ryzen 1700/1700X prices, but maybe 6 core? I assume the next mainstream 6 core may cost around the Ryzen 7 1700/i7 7700K price though.
And in 2014 I could had gotten i7 5820K + X99 for 3000 + 2000 SEK and over 1000 SEK money back ...

Well B&H is quite good too; it's where I got all the 480 4GB GPUs that were able to be flash updated to unlock the full 8GB VRAM
Technically I think AMD is centsto the dollar from sell or almost $3.50 from it depending on where one want to draw the line. It's had a good run up from around $2 so selling at say $12 is n't the worst thing in the world .. As for the actual value of the company I don't know. Back when it cost 1/7 one could believe the company would have some value even as bankrupt. Now it's valued much higher and I have no idea whatsoever that demands of the future. While AMD has gone up so has Nvidia too, I don't know why that is either but I assume it may be some AI craze or something and that may mean that the market is larger / more valuable now than before. I don't know.
Personally I thought it was likely cheap and exciting and was waiting for market confirmation but now I have no clue but as such I would just had followed the market, so far price haven't pulled down but whenever it does who am I to argue against it? I don't know what the company is worth whatsoever :D. Anyone who followed the price movement made a lot of money and can be very happy with that.
Not financial advice, just basic technical analysis from nothing more complex than higher highs and lower lows, no occilators or magic stuff. No real market prediction, just accepting whatever happens.Whomever do whatever at their own risk and judgement.
Price may just consolidate and move up too. Shake off some non-believers.
As for Goldman Sachs at-least they want movement and transactions.
Who cares about single thread perfomance? it is 2017 and i bought it knowing that games of the future will be make multithreadted not single thread. Single thread is the past multithread and multicores are the future.
