Best way is when you buy a new AIO unit like that; hook it up to a power supply and power it on without any other parts; just your power supply and the AIO unit by itself. Allowing you to help ensure it is working properly.
very loud noice i even hear it when i leave room did you found fix for this?? Please help thanks
Its one of the most expensive cpu coolers on the market 115i hydro platinum i don't think the noice should be like that it would be hilarious if everbody have flying jet sound in room :( Wondering because maybe gigguh somehow fixed this problem...
Edit: you mean air cooler ok sorry
I said proper AIR cooler.
It is not that your water cooler is not proper, those just are very loud and in my experience do not really make much of a difference, unless in rare cases.
Ahh I saw you did a edit.. Those corsair ones are notorious for their loud sounds
there was just air trapped in the pump, the sound is gone. it is very silent as of now, even on VERY heavy loads. i cant even hear it. if i press my ear against my glass panel, it is almost impossible to hear unless i take the door off and push my ear near the pump.
if your AIO cooler is still making noise, sorry. i just played the ♥♥♥♥ out of my games and did a few CPU burn in tests.
After some time the noice was gone?
That's what you mean?
AIO are just cheap junk.
And H115 isn't expensive or high end, not at all. H150 and others like that, maybe. But again, no AIO is built well, or built to last.
Much better off with an air cooler that could last you many years, even 10+ years if it continues to fit sockets you use. All you'd need to do over time is blow out the dust and if needed change the fan, which is just a standard case fan.
What is making the noise? Is it the fans or the pump. I would experiment with the settings for both. Set the pump to quiet mode and the fans to balanced. Also, which fans is it using? The older ones come with terrible fans. There may be something in replacing the fans with the new magnetic levitation thingamybobs.
if your not aware why,im sorry !!!
They are really not that silent. Even less so because of the fact you have a "fan" at the roof of your case. If you don´t tweak the cooler, than you can be certain it is not as low as advertised (that is my experience)
The gain you get is not worth the price in my opinion.. to each his own
Actually it is for me. Without any issue.
But as I said.. the fact that you have to make a roof outtake can often make the "sound" louder, mainly because you have less sound dampening. My experience is that these water coolers often make alot more noise than advertised and often have coil whine.. (remember you do have a fan attached)
