Steelseries Arctis 3 mic not working?

If the mic of your Steelseries Arctis 3 isn't working, you should first look if you've got the right cables connected. You get 3 cables in the box -> 1- main headset cable 2- dual 3.5 extension cable 3- 4 pole 3.5 mm adapter.
the setup if you want to use your mic is as follows:
headset <-> main headset cable <-> dual 3.5mm extension cable <-> pc
MAKE SURE NOT TO HAVE THE 4-pole 3.5 mm Adapter CONNECTED TO YOUR HEADSET IF YOU WANT TO USE YOUR MIC!!! if you are using this one, you should take it out and you should be good to go. if it still doesn't work, you can try a different tutorial which you can find on the internet ofc

make sure you press all the cables completely in. I'm no IT specialist but if it still doesn't work, I would say you return the headset and ask a new one. Maybe it's just an error in your specific copy.

If you dont fixed that problem for your headset you need to instal steelseries engine 3 and you will get surround sound.
