Why not just build a new gaming desktop? Then you will have a laptop for on the go gaming and a desktop for home gaming. If your are in the US you can build a gaming desktop for about 900 with an i5 and a GTX 1070 which will blow any laptop near that price range out of the water.

and what if i get egpu setup? i mean i dont need 4k@60 but if i can run games im happy with it
I've never ran an egpu setup before but from what I've read it really isn't worth it. First you have to have a capable laptop with thunderbolt port or mpcie. Then you have to buy the external GPU and a PSU separately for it you also have to have an external monitor unless you actually have an HDMI input. So, the costs of the components for the reduced graphics capability just isn't worth it.

On top of that there are issues with running the egpu on the software/driver side as well. Which you will need to research for your particular laptop.

To sum up it is possible but a pain on the arse, especially if you have the budget to build a proper gaming machine.

the loss is only 10-20% you need only pci slot wich you can buy cheap on china and a power supply. You dont need to play on extern monitor but the loss will be less on extern monitor.

all with all it cost 300$ if you get a decent gpu. and you will be ready for gaming for next 2 year i think?

but its smarter to build a pc right?
