RAM WONT FIT INTO MOTHERBOARD WTF PLEASE HELP

And this motherboard

I've tried putting the ram both ways in each slot and pressing down on both sides of the ram and it won't click or fit into my motherboard it's ddr4 and 2133 like my motherboard needs but it won't click wtf

All I can say is I cringe when I see you trying to wobble the modules in there. I usually apply ample pressure (you'd be suprised at how much force it takes) at the far end of each module (near the brackets) till you hear a brisk snap... and then pray it wasn't the mobo.

Your mobo is definetely DDR4, so it could either be mislabeled sticks (could happen seeing all HyperX's have got the exact same shroud), but I venture a guess you simply didn't press down hard enough on the initial install... worth a shot before you throw more dosh out the window :D

Thanks for showing the sticker on the RAM, btw that's not a DDR4 at all, that's DDR3.

Are you sure you ordered the ram you think you ordered? Check your order and verify. Either way, you need to return the ram.

I can definitely say that you do not have DDR4. You have DDR3 and it will not fit on that motherboard. Wiggling it sideways like you did is also not healthy for the slot.

I'm looking at the email from new egg and it says Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB (1 x 8G) DDR4 2133 Desktop Memory DIMM (288-Pin)RAM

If you ordered DDR4 but got 3, then someone put the wrong one into your box. Just send it back after you get an RMA number.

Uh... How would you not know this information? Check the bill of lading. It will have order numbers, part numbers, etc.

You should know what you opened... As you opened it.

Also, why did your friend order you DDR3?

Uh... How would you not know this information? Check the bill of lading. It will have order numbers, part numbers, etc.

My friend ordered me DDR3 a long time ago and it wasnt the right one I found out by doing alot of research so i ordered ddr4 and it came in like 2 hours after I made this thread so I figured it out
