Function Keys not Working Correctly
I just bought a steelseries apex 100 keybord and quickly realised the the function keys (F5-F12 specifically) are not working as they should. the brightnes keys (F5 and F6) do nothing while (and this is where it gets weird) the the rewind key (F7) is mute, the play/pause key (F8) is volume down, the fastforward key (F9) is volume up, the mute key (F10) enters fullscreen and the volume up and down keys (F11 and F12) do nothing. Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?

I'm not sure if this helps, but it might.

Everything is pretty standard on the right side, too. Enter key is single-row. In place of the Fn button is the key with the SteelSeries logo, which, however, does not change its functionality. Combinations Fn+F5 and F6 regulate the brightness, Fn+F7–F9 control playback, and Fn+F10–F12 adjust the volume. Win button can be turned off by pressing a combination Fn+Win. Blue LED, which resembles that button is off, will light on Lock-dashboard

That was the problem, thank you very much. The keybord did not come with instructions and I couldn't even find any on the steelseries website.

You have to hold down the [fn] key to use to other functions. That's the key with the logo on that keyboard
