Future of 4GB GPU's!
Something that has been asked a lot over the last year or so, and something I myself wonder is how viable will graphics cards with 4GB VRAM be over the next few years?

I got back into PC gaming back in 2012 with a XFX 5750 1GB GDDR5 my friend gave me, which was good for games from Fallout 3, through Farcry 3 and World of Tanks, I'm now using a R7 260x 2GB which was almost a two fold boost over the 5750, and has allowed me to play Fallout 4 at Medium preset, 1600x900p, with a stable 60FPS in open areas but now my card is showing it's limitations, which have become apparent with JC3, and seeing as 2GB is the bare minimum with 4GB cards the recommended, how long will 4GB cards be relevant to run games at recommended specs?

All 4GB GPUs are basically part of the lower budget end of the GPU spectrum now.
Even for 1080p; some games on Ultra require more then 4GB VRAM

For JC3 it should be ok though; the biggest thing with that game is a strong CPU and alot of RAM. Such as at least an i5, GTX 970 and 12-16GB RAM

Now, more like 4GB VRAM is the minimum; 6-8GB is preferred.
