Then you either don't have the GPU Drivers installed; or you are using the Onboard GPU.
Ensure any Display you have, is plugged into the NVIDIA GPU Card and not the Motherboard.
Then do the following:

If that Display is only VGA, that could be a factor too. Since the OS/Driver can't read a Display and be able to tell what it can support, etc. when it is VGA. It's really time to ditch VGA and get a decent Display that is Digital (DVI/HDMI/DP)
And don't use Geforce Experience.
Why do people do anything "Automatic" if you don't understand what it does.
ALWAYS do custom and that way you can see what options there are.
Best bet is using DDU App; wipe out all GPU Drivers and start the process over again.
The install should only take like 60 secs to be honest.
I would just force a reboot, go into safe mode and download and run DDU.
If you used the "Auto Installer" for Geforce.com that is installing Geforce Experience, and the very latest GPU Driver, which is really not what you want for a older GPU like 750/760
You must have all sorts of driver related issues if the screen won't come back on.
In which case you may need to power down, then connect a Display to the Onboard GPU and then remove all the Drivers.
