PS3 controller not working on pc with SCP

Everything looks fine, the controller is recognized as a 360 controller and my laptop says the controller is working fine, but the lights on the controller keep blinking and I cannot use it. What should I do?

Then reset the controller. There is a small pin-hole on the back side of the controller.

Disconnect the controller, use a paper-clip or similar, hold the reset button in for approx 10 secs. Then reconnect it via USB.

Thanks, after I reset I reinstalled the drivers. Working fine now.

Sometimes the driver for the BT or the Controller may have changed and thus may require a Controller hard reset to fix a re-sync issue.

If, like me, anyone finds this topic because the lights on their controller keep blinking with SCP in windows 11, but the reset does not work, here is how I solved it: open devices manager, find the controler (under Human Interface Devices or Universal Serial Bus controllers), right click and uninstall it. Afterwards, download and install the successor of SCP Toolkit, which is DsHidMini (https://docs.nefarius.at/projects/DsHidMini/How-to-Install/). It worked fine after that!
