Gioteck XH100 problem
Hi guys!

I've a big problem. I have bought a Gioteck headset model XH100 for comment gameplays, but when I connected the headset to my computer, a Toshiba Satellite L50-B-1WP, the laptop didn't recognize. More, for capture gameplay I've the LGP Lite GL310 from Avermedia and RECentral software and both didn't recognize too.

Someone can help me?
Regards.

Which version? There is a USB version and also a 3.5mm Stereo Jack version.

Thanks for reply Motha.
USB version? I don't understand friend.
Only I can explain that is 3.5mm jack.

Then 3.5mm you just plug it in. There really is nothing to do.
Just ensure that for the Mic, that that device is set as Default in Playback/Recording.

I plugged and unplugged many times but the device doesn't show up.

It is always there, there is no "plug it in and it pops up onscreen"
Its just there, because it is an analog device.
Go to Playback/Recording and change which Mic is the default.
Your webcam is the default so you'll need to change it to the analog one "Microphone | Realtek HD Audio"

Motha, are you still here?
Listen, as Speakers and Microphone I've Conexant SmartAudio HD.
I should configure microphone first?

Doesn't matter which first. Just go to Windows Playback/Recording and set the correct devices as defaults; then test them.

Hi, I have the same issue. When I go into the recording tab the Microphone simply DOES NOT SHOW UP! I've tried many times with other guides, is it possible that the headset is just not compatible with my software?

It's been a long time since I plugged anything into a mic / speaker port directly, so I could be wrong, but you probably need a splitter to take your single cable to both mic and headphone jack something like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Audio-Line-Splitter-Headphone-Adapter-Black/dp/B01HGK2AOU/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1512030315&sr=8-10&keywords=audio+mic+splitter should come fix the issue.
