Can i play all current AAA games, with this PC?

8gb ddr4
gtx 1060 3gb
windows 10

Do you think id be able to play games such as BF1, RE7, GTA5, Titanfall 2, COD AW, (etc)?

The thing is, im new to this and i do not fully unterstand the MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS specified by a certain game, i dont know if im above, or below the minimum requirements (specially with the CPU)

The game that im most interested in, is BF1.

It's entry level hardware. It will run pretty much any current game, but with reduced settings.

but i think your cpu will bottlneck your gpu

Thanks for the response, very helpful, although in the video he's using 6GB VRAM, mine has only 3GB, would that make a difference in performance while playing those same games?

Yes, you can play most AAA games, just not on the best settings. I have a similar setup. 1060 3gb but my CPU (FX6300) is inferior to yours for gaming and I can play most games on high.

My tolerance for FPS is low though (I am ok @ 30 FPS), not sure of yours.

that is a good setup

although it might be a better idea to get a kaby lake cpu and a mobo that supports it due to it priced very close to skylake but is clocked higher runs slightly cooler and (depending on the mobo) supports more advanced hardware

that really depends on the game on poorly optimized games like dayz arma 3 and fallout 4 (just to name a few) will always perform poorly no matter how good your cpu is
