PLEASE HELP, MY GTX 970M FRAME RATE SUCKS!!

hi guys, im really really cheesed with my computer right now. I have a MSI GS70 stealth pro 2QE. ever since I got the computer ive felt like it hasn't been able to carry its weight in terms of gaming and good FPS. when playing league of legends I get max 60FPS on the highest settings. Ive noticed when I get into team fights, the fps drops to around 40. I have made sure that my default GPU being used is my GTX970M and that my battery is on high performance. my fps is overall terrible....im decently tech savy....what can i do?! please help!!

ps. ive also done sky diver on 3D mark and only got around 25 frames.

here are my specs:
MSI GS70 STEALTH PRO 2QE
WINDOWS 10
I7 5700HQ @ 2.70GHZ
GTX 970M 3GB
16GB RAM
128GB SSD /1TB HDD

have you checked what its using as its gpu? as i said go to nivida control panel and check since it may be on auto or on cpu. it needs to be on gpu. check your drivers are up to date. NOT VIA WINDOWS.

http://www.geforce.com/geforce-experience keep in mind you may wanna uninstall it after checking since it is a pain in the ass and slows your pc down. unfortuantly i need geforce exp since it has shadowplay and i use it.

I would try running display driver uinstaller (http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html) and reinstalling the geforce drivers. You might also check the BIOS options for setting that toggles between the dedicated graphics and integrated graphics.

depends. dont be uninstalling drivers yet. to big of a job for something that might be small.

Impossibe to do on a laptop due to heating issues.
It's best to check your drivers and run a malware scan before setting your desk/bed/house on fire.

hey man so im running Squad on ultra, my FPS is actually quite good, but it says my GPU load is at 98%-100% is that normal? or is something wrong? my temperature is at an average 75

GPU load of 90-100% is ideal. Means your system is working at full potential, anything below 95% would suggest something was mechanically wrong with the GPU.

You've got to keep your expectations reasonable. Even working perfectly that's a fairly basic GPU, it won't perform anywhere near as well as a big desktop card.

basically your memory is slower, your clock is slower you have lower memory bandwidth 120 GB/s to the desktop's 224 GB/s. You have for example 80 texture mapping units to the desktop cards 104 major performance loss cause of that.

Desktop card = 109.2 Gtexel/s vs the mobile card's 83 Gtexel/s

idk gta is a optimised game. the big games like proper big games such as cod, titanfall, gta, etc all have great optimisation. game like dayz, arma, ♥♥♥♥ games like that dont have what the big games have. big budget games are good and run on almost anything.

msaa kills fps. makes it look good though. i should be able to run it fine iv got a 1060 6gb and a i5 6500. i can run most of my games on ultra with a 100 fps.
