Best Micro USB Cable?
I have had to go through 2 MiUSB cables due to both of them losing connection with my controller. Which one do you use that works? Or is Micro USB just bad for controllers?

What controller are you talking about?

Typically these types of devices come with what they need to function.

Could just be crappy quality cable, especially the MicroUSB end.
These are decent quality:

Yea for those you have to get your own cable, ensure it is DataSync type of cable, not ChargeOnly.

Because they are designed to work wireless on the Xbox One, with AA batteries.

What specific cable were you getting before?

Like Bad-Motha said above, you want a data sync cable of at least decent quality.

They work both ways; if it is Microsoft Wireless XBO Controller.
By removing the batteries and using MicroUSB to USB cable.
It was from a brand called BITS.

Just have to be careful with those; as a large amount of all the stress will be on the MicroUSB side. Buy cables that have the little securing clips on the MicroUSB side. If you look at what Linked, you can see that in the pictures.

Out of the box, no it isn't, as it doesn't come with a cable. But that isn't really what I was trying to state, but rather dog on Microsoft's design decision to not include a built-in rechargeable battery (which would also include a microUSB cable).

You don't have to pay $10 for a cable. There are plenty of other brands out there.

How long of a cable do you need?

Its a 3 pack of 10ft quality cables.
usually 1 cable above 3 - 6 ft costs this much.

But yea it was just a suggestion; plenty to choose from it u search around.
Again if the cable does not say "Data Sync" then avoid it.

Are chargers that come with androids any good? Or are they still bad?
I also don't wanna pay for a overpriced cable (like monster cables) and get the same security and durability lol.

I use a micro USB cable that came with an old digital camera for Xbox One controller. It has been fine.

Charger for what? Never plug a Controller into the Wall, if you want to charge it, insert the batteries then and plug in USB cable to Console or PC. Yes you can use a Charge-Only cable to change. For actually using a Controller via USB cable though, you want to remove batteries and then use a Data-Sync cable. The device can't work as a Controller when using Charge-Only cable.

But again this is if you actually have rechargable AA batteries; and need that for Wireless.

For using controller on PC via just usb cable; you don't need any batteries.
