WINDOWS 10 - XP - VISTA

I'm old. I remember playing ZORK in my youth. I see the original TEXT adventure is available on Steam for Windows XP & Windows Vista. What does that mean to someone like myself who is running Windows 10 on a fairly new PC?

No idea. But the game itself is old and graphically undemanding enough to run under a virtualized XP/Vista environment should it be an issue with 10 itself.

Well it's recommended for 7/8/10 so presumably it will work on Win10.

hi everyone i'm thinking about buying the ZORK Anthology, and i was wondering will the zork games featuring graphics work with fullscreen settings? If you can also provide any playtips i would appreciate it . Thanks!

Yes of course it works in full-screen; and Win10 is of a non-issue as well.

Well again, ^THIS answered your question I think, long time ago.

And the Store page even lists "Win10" even though they really do not have to do this, since pretty much any game that works properly under Vista/7/8, should have no real issue installing/working under Win10. As long as it is not a "retail box" game. As Win10 does block alot of those, due to some DRMs that many retail games have, such as SecuRom, Microsoft deems such things a "security risk" and will block it automatically under Win10.

If you have a game from Steam, Origin, Uplay, GoG; you don't have to worry about things like SecuRom

what about windowed mode
