Mixing RAM sticks with different voltage?
I have 4 ram slots
2 slots are filled with (2x4gb) gskill ripjaw v series 2133mhz
I want to fill in the last 2 slots with (2x8gb) gskill ripjaw v series 3000mhz
The thing is these my ram kit has 1.2 voltage and this one i want to mix is 1.35 voltage
Will it still work if i have 2 ram kits with different voltages in all the slots?

I don't think it would be compatible, as the MOBO puts out the same voltage to all of the ram sticks. you'll potentially damage the ram as well.

Is it possible to adjust ram voltage on a b150 motherboard?

Yes of course. While you can't OC your CPU on that, you can mess around fully with RAM settings. It may be a bit more limited compared to say Z170 or Z270; but it does support XMP profiles; that is what you want to do really; have all RAM that matches and just apply the XMP profile for all installed RAM.

However, if the RAM Voltage differs, that is a no-go really. Cause that will mean something within your mix will be running completely out of spec.

If all you have is 2133 RAM, buy more of the same, or replace that out of the system entirely. Doesn't make sense to go buy DDR4-3000, only to have it run at 2133. Now that ram in question, when ran at 2133/2400/2666 should be able to run that while at 1.2V; however we can't guarantee that.

Best bet is NOT mixing RAM that differs in specs.

This, it will only open the bag of unstability worms. If you want to add to your RAM and cant get the same that you already have then it's best to make sure it's the same V, CL, Mhz.
Or just get the completely new kit.

While it can seem fine at first glance sometimes to mix RAM; you never know how this can translate once you start messing around with your OS and data overall.

Unstable RAM or RAM settings can cause all sorts of odd issues; freezing, bsod, data corruption; etc.

Ok thank you for informing me. So you don't suggest getting a 2x8gb kit with a 2x4gb kit?

If you really need this much RAM; best bet would be sell the 2x4GB or find other use for that.
Then grab 2 sets of matching 2x8GB; 32GB total

Sounds good

Which B150 Motherboard model is this?
Cause some will not run at any RAM speeds except 2133
If that turns out to be the case here, then I would suggest just grab more GSkill of the same specs; like a 2x8GB kit that matches the Frequency/Timings/Voltage of your current 2x4GB kit.

You need to RTFM of the mobo. Some do allow completely different settings per bank including voltage. Others limit the differences or may require a single setup.

The general wisdom is to not mess with different settings even is those are supposedly supported. Older times it was not even recommended to use different but compatible modules, I believe that is outdated by now. But pushing it to extremes would require better reasons than reusing a particular pair of 4G sticks.
