In-game temp monitor overlay program?
I just built a new Steambox rig and have it setup with a 4k TV and I'm a little concerned about the GPU/CPU temps (small case).

MSI Afterburner used to have the ability to overlay any monitors in-game but I don't see that feature in the newsest version. Is there another program that will allow me to see temps while in-game?

MSI afterburner still has that feature.

You probably unchecked the option to install rivatuner statistics server along with msi afterburner so that's why you don't see it anywhere.

I'm using version 4.3.0 and I did install Rivatuner.

Under monitoring I'm seeing an option to display on the LCD of a Logitch device but nothing else. I seem to recall that being the same area of the options where the overlay option was.

Actually that was the problem. I had it checked but it does a seperate install after MSI installs which I had shut down thinking I had launched two instances of the installer.

Problem solved....thanks

You're in the right area, but instead of the LCD thing check the option right above it "show in on-screen display" but you have to do this for every thing that you want to monitor, so let's say you have to check that box for gpu core clock, memory clock, temp etc...also then go to tab on screen display and make a hotkey for the monitoring
Monitoring > GPU Temp > OSD
For any OSD to actually work though, you have to go into RivaTuner and enable those options and such, this handles how the OSD itself works. And if you setup it up right, should run good without Apps/Games crashing due to using such a feature, which it can in some games because OSD info worked like a form of ScriptHook method.
