[windows 10] Need permission from myself to delete folders
I cant seem to delete folders contained within the steam directory (i can delete files).
It returns this error: http://imgur.com/a/mWXmf

It seems to be only steam folder and it's contents that are effected, but im not so sure steam is actually the cause.
In the security tab of folder properties i noticed that my profile is not listed (though it is in some of the folders subordinate to it that i am unable to delete).

I tried messing with the security perms on the folder i am trying to delete, but it didnt work.

exit steam client and try to delete again.
I tried that before, but it didnt work.

Like i said, i dont think steam is actually the cause.

can you make a screenshot containing the directory of the folder?
Download and install the "Add_Take_Ownership_to_context_menu.reg" file then right click on folder to take ownership once installed. You must have Admin. access to do this.

Yes take ownership of your Steam folder and apply that to all sub-folders and you should be fine.
