burn in on Alienware 13 with OLED
Does anyone have any experience with the Alienware 13 R3 with OLED? I'm curious about this laptop but I'm concerned about burn in. My amoled phones have developed burn in after less than two years. I've heard there is new technology to help reduce burn in and I would like to hear from someone that owns the laptop.

Phones are cheap, so can't really go by that.
Typically OLED would never have such an issue, since screens with that LED tech actually turn completely off when needed; such as when there is Black, that is achieved by those LEDs turning off, producing a rich, dark black as intended.

OLED does indeed produce nice blacks. My concern is that there are reports of burn in with OLED TV's so I'm assuming there is the same problem with laptops. The OLED is such a differentiator, though, that I'm finding it hard to resist it.

It generally shouldn't be an issue unless the screen is sitting idle, while still left powered on and basically displaying the same still image for long periods of time. I don't see that being an issue for Phone, Tablet, Laptop users really; cause you'd either be actively using the system; or having the screen power off when idle.

I think the tiles and the taskbar might be problematic but I can hide the taskbar and have the screensaver on after 1 minute.
