FX8300 overclocks and G4560 does not overclock also depends if you're looking at a disposable pc or a pc with an upgrade path.

If a person is planning on 1440p res then the FX8300 would be a better choice for now.

what ? when i had a FX 8370 i got the samer performance with a GTX 1050 and a GTX 1070 Thats why i switched over to intel.

Taken with a grain of salt in the grand scheme of games ^ that are heavily reliant on the cpu but the majority of games you'd see a tremendous difference.

The FX series is old, they were definitely competitive in multithreaded workloads with older intel CPUs but there's no reason to buy them anymore.
