"USB, 3.5mm headphone and microphone ports allow for easy cable routing"
So yea it has a 3.5mm jack and a USB port as well for using your mic.
Or is the jack for combined audio and microphone? (which im assuming it would be)
I see that the V1 version has two seprate 3.5mm jacks that are labled mic/headphones whereas the v2 only has one 3.5mm jack.
if you are not comfortable with that, you can get the V1 version which has two separate 3.5mm jacks one specifially for microphone and one for headphone.
3.5mm jack handles Audio Out and In
So it supports 4-pole single jack Headsets.
This also then turns that connected Headset into a USB Headset and the Audio is handled through USB emulation and power; and your audio is configured via Razer Synapse.
So that is a 4pole all in one jack; case closed.
4pole all in one jack, is typical for alot of things now:
Laptops, Phones, Tablets
Instead of being 2x seperate audio in and out jacks (3-pole) it is a single jack.
