i7 7700k Temperatures .. what temps do you all get

Ok so i ordered a i7 7700k new mobo and ram. Im upgrading from an old AMD FX 8370 processor but when i see the temperatures people get on the i7 7700k im a bit worried i see them in the 70's.
I was going to get a ryzen CPU but i didnt have enough on my amazon account and the i7 7700k was $50 cheaper and i barely had enough.
I have an air cooler the Noctua NH D15, i just want to know what temerpatures people who have the i7 7700k get?

I do not have a 7700k but the temps are fine as long as the stay below 85c. Most people try to keep their temps below 70c.

I only have a 6700K, but 70c has been perfectly fine for the last decade of Intel chips. Most start to throttle at around 100c

I was just worried cus on the AMD CPU i got around 64c while playing and the numbers on the intel chip got me worried.
In my head i imagined the chip melting into the motherboard lol.

If the chip does overheat it will try to save itself by running at a lower clockspeed and shutting the PC down in a worst case scenario so you don't have to worry about that.

Depends on the game really, but usually around the 45-50 mark, great CPU, even on air you will not have issues with it as long as its decent cooling you have with it.. :)

yea i have a Noctua NH D15 air cooler, i saw some reviews where it was identical to some liquid coolers as far as temps go. I hope so cus high temps make me nervous

As long as you don't reach 80C when you run Prime95 and the like you're good to go. It varies greatly between chips, some may not reach 5.1Ghz at all even cranking at 1.45V. Temp is largely affected by Voltage and then Clock.

i7-7700k T junction = 100 degree Celsius. I never cleaned my desktop in 5 years and I don't worry when CPU temperature reaches 85". There is no any difference for Intel CPU whether it run at 70 or 90 degrees.

This, ^ people get paraniod over temps, bottom line is you could probably run a 7700K at 90c 24/7 and unless you were pumping crazy volts through it degradation would be minimal.
