Best AM4 CPU Cooler?
I'm getting a Ryzen 5 1600X soon, and I have no idea what cooler to buy. I know I want an air cooler, but all of the coolers look similar and I don't know what's good and what isn't. Help?

From what I found online Cryorig H7 doesn't come with a AM4 bracket.

OO wait just found a article that says that Cryorig will give a free am4 bracket if you show a proof of purchase and maybe they already added a AM4 bracket to their coolers.

How come Newegg lists it under "AM4"? Is there a bracket on Cryorig's website?
It's absolutely compatible with AM4

If that is the case, yea get the Cryorig H7 its easily way better then any of those 120mm ones from Cooler Master around that pricing range for $40-50 or lower.

Alright, thanks.
The 6 year warranty helps, and it's super quiet.
It's also beefier cooler over say any of the Hyper212 and it also won't get in the way of RAM in any ways.

At first when he goes over the stats, it way seem like the Hyper212 ones are better, due to overall CFM. But at upwards of 34-36db when pushed to 2000rpms; it can get loud, but still no where near as loud as an Intel stock cooler, or those old AMD stock coolers from FM2/AM3 (non Wraith).

Overall the H7 has a much better well built design, with more fins and heat-pipes; it will cool better overall.

You can see here how the heat-pipes are off-set towards the CPU socket

allowing the cooler overall to be larger, while still not forcing the Fan to get in the way of RAM in any ways. The Fan on the H7 also have a very easy on/off method via the clips. On a Hyper212 series, those a cheap plastic clips and it is time consuming to change out a fan on a Hyper212 series cooler if needed. On ones like H7 (similar to most Noctua) is you can easily remove the clips, stick those on another fan, and clip the fan back onto the cooler, all without much down time, and without remove any other hardware, such as RAM.

If you want the "best," than the Hyper 212 and Cryorig H7 shouldn't even be in the discussion. If you want the best air cooler, it needs to be a dual tower design with dual 140mm fans and exceptional build quality. These are the best 3: Noctua NH-D15, Cryorig R1 Ultimate, be quiet dark rock pro 3. If you want an affordable dual tower cooler, I just a review of this new one from Scythe: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/scythe-fuma-scfm-1000-big-air-cpu-cooler,4986-2.html

If the OP wants to spend that much.
I was thinking more on the lines of; the best bang for buck under $40-50
Seriously, there's no "best" CPU cooler. Most of the cooler in the same class performs the same, it boils down to preference. For example, most people would recommend NH-D15 but if you go by review Thermalright Le Grand Macho beat it fairly easy. Better performance, much better compatibility and weigh less.

See, the thing is whenever a cooler comes up in a review, most of the time people will be singing praise about it. They end up doing the same job anyway, it comes down to YOUR preference, not someone on the internet. For example I have seen reviews where H7 does worse than 212X. Why? Because they are so similar there can be margin of errors.

Does it look good to you?
Does it fit your motherboard and case?
Does it hit the RAM? The Graphic card?
Is it more readily available for you?
Is it affordable to you?
Then go get it.
