Id Still like to have intel instead.

If you plan on NOT switching your platform for a few more years then why not pick up a $130 FX8350 or $90 FX8300 and overclock.

Some games FX8xxx has an advantage over higher clocked FX6xxx ^.

Again with a stronger gtx1070 FX8370 who cares ^.
The games that brutalize amd FX framerates are Fallout 4 and GTA5 but they're still smooth and playable on FX8xxx.
As for a new FX CPU, I honestly wouldn't bother, unless you can get it cheap. You'd be better off saving for a new platform, whether thats based around a 7600k or a 1500X.
Used? Sure if you can sell your FX-6100 and upgrade to FX-8000 for a low enough cost maybe do that but it won't help much.
FX-4100 vs FX-8350 unlikely give all that much difference in a game. Notice I wrote FX-4100 not 6100 ..
You don't want Intel suggested so .. The better upgrade would be to sell the stuff you got an upgrade to Ryzen 5 1600X or whatever instead.
