When installing a motherboard, If I dont have a CD drive, how do I get MB drivers?
I assume you use the internet, but at the same time, would I not need the drivers BEFORE I boot the pc for the first time? or am I just an utter noob?

The OS should have your LAN Driver already; if for some reason the OS does not have a Driver for your Wired LAN or WiFi, use that from the Motherboard disc or disc that came with your WiFi adapter. This gets you online. Then go get the latest Drivers for everything hardware wise (Chipset, Audio, LAN, USB, etc.) that is needed based on your Hardware and OS. As well as GPU Drivers, which goes without saying.

For future references:
When you are doing a new build; prepare for this once you have finalized what you are about to buy for the core build; such as going onto a working Windows PC, making a Win10 64bit USB Flash Drive, once this is created, use the remain drive space on that to store your need hardware drivers for the new build as well. Which you can go and grab all those before your parts reach your door.

You don't need any CD with drivers if you install Windows 8 or 10, it includes everything important even wifi drivers if you're on laptop.

No, not always, even Win10 generally will not have LAN/WiFi Drivers for many of those Chipsets. Even if it does, that is old OS driver still; to which you still want to go grab and install the latest from Chipset makers.

Download driver packs, buy a USB to lan adapter. Many ways to do it.
you can copy your 'old' motherbaord drivers from installation cd/dvd to a usb flash drive using a working PC ( library, friend, etc)
alternatively, you can get latest driver versions from motherboard website.

I have a £10 portable usb dvd drive for installing windows and drivers. I rarely use it, but it's good to have.

For example, do i install and boot my operating system and THEN add the drivers from online?

Well yeah, how else would you install drivers without booting into the OS ? Windows itself often detects hardware and downloads the most important drivers via windows update, such as gpu drivers for example.

Yesterday i installed windows 10 (finally) and only one of my monitors worked at first without video drivers, but then all the updates started coming in automatically and it suddenly started working. I still had to manually install a bunch of other random drivers from a disk that my motherboard came with, but i'm not even sure they were all necessary.

Get your OS all installed and set up first, then install all the necessary drivers.

As mentioned above, windows update might install some for you. Otherwise download and install the latest drivers off the manufacturers website.

Don't bother using any discs that come with the hardware as the drivers on these are often outdated.

Ah I see, so I dont need to worry about installing drivers to get the motherboard to work at the start?

I never had any trouble with the motherboard. I simply downloaded the drivers I needed from the manufacturer website.

Also, windows update might install some drivers for you. For example, after setting up W10 I already had the necessary AMD driver for my GPU (R9 270) installed.

Yea, don't let Windows Updates handle drivers, period.

I always get drivers from the manufacturers website myself.

I don't really bother with windows update for drivers, in my case the drivers it provides are mostly generic microsoft ones anyway. The gpu driver was an exception, but I removed that and got the latest from the AMD site instead.

Same goes for discs that are included with hardware. I never bother with those, as the drivers on them are usually outdated.

Can you please go through the videos I sent you, like the building part and the software part...

cause you seem to have alot of questions, to which all that would be answered and made much more clear through visual examples, showing you...

First thing is if you do not have it, go on a working system and make Win10 usb flash drive; you can even download and store all your drivers on that after done creating one.
