Everything else is alright.
The cpu is OK. High single-thread speed and reasonable multi-thread performance.
Memory should be OK. With a 1050ti you won't get high framerates anyway. Steam has minimum and recommended specs listed on the store page for each game. Most games use less than 8gb.
MSI Afterburner is a free tool that displays cpu, gpu and memory loads. Use it to identify cause of amy performance problems.
Overall your pc would be rated as low-end.
To make it high-end, the cpu would be upgraded to an i7-4xxx cpu, better graphics card and 16gb ram.
But what I would suggest is buying a gtx1060 6gb or 1070 and see how it goes. You should see a good performance improvement.
Even if you upped the ram to 16GB the problem is the 1050ti is not for high end gaming.

1050ti is not much better when compared to last gen gtx960 which slumped into low end.
Rx480 8GB and GTX1060 6GB are todays mid range cards, GTX1070 gets you into high end.
Your cpu is still good enough.
Your GTX1050ti and 8GB ram aren't good enough to be considered upper mid range.
If you've got an SSD for OS that's good too if you don't get one.
8gb of ram really isn't enough though with newer games.
Honestly i wouldn't bother upgrading your CPU unless you actually need too.
