Need help with DPI Problem on mouse.

So ive got the original ibuypower mouse that comes with their pc's and when im trying to play battlegrounds and use the scroll to switch between my weapons, it only turns up and down the volume. I read holding in the button for 3 seconds will switch its mode \but im still having this issue. Is there anyway of turning it off in general?

Did your mouse come with any software / control panel ?

it came with the pc, there was no software with it, just the box it came in. i cant play the games i want with it because it keeps switching modes on me and i have to keep holding the DPI button down for 3 seconds. is there any fix to this or should i have to be another mouse?

when i tried to look at the control panel settings it really didnt give me any option or solution to fix the problem.

the mouse i have is a iBuyPower GMS5001
