You can use a third-party application to amplify the microphone input but it won't increase the microphone quality. Have you thought of buying a clip-on microphone and using the headset as a pair of headphones?
i set it all the way to max and its still low...it came with 3 plug ins for mic, headset, and the usb was to just light up the headset to make it look cool. when i bought it, i thought it was just a usb that i could directly plug into the pc and it works like my old logitech mic.
https://www.amazon.com/Kinobo-Microphone-USB-Clip-Stand/dp/B016NWYEKK could that be good to get?
It's second-hand. However good it may have been, it won't be now. If somebody is selling it, there's a reason why - it may be broken, defective, and will certainly be dirty.
With respect, buying generic-brand trash is how we got to this situation in the first place.
From my experience, you get what you pay for. If you buy cheap, you will inevitably have to replace your hardware quite regularly. If you do research and find a quality product, it'll be a lot longer before you have to replace it. Try buying a good headset and microphone, somewhere around the $75 price range. It'll last you for many years and won't cause you any problems.
I particularly recommend the Cloud Revolver from HyperX. The audio and build quality are astonishing for the price, it uses the best OEM parts possible and packages them at a reasonable price. It's a lot more expensive than Walmart gear, but it'l work a lot better andl last you a lot longer.
