1440p for sure. You're wasting the potential of the card if you go 1080p or lower.

My opinion-

G sync is not worth it given it's high price..., adaptive Vsync does the similar thing anyway...., turn it on from the game options.....

Higher refresh rate (100Mhz etc)is needed if you wanna play above 60 fps and found useful. (personally i didn't notice any difference)...

Buy 1440p monitor, since you can always lower the resolution to 1080p, but try to buy as small as possible ( best around 20"). small monitor with higher resolution means- higher pixel density (ppi). Means more better picture quality........

That's pretty much all rubbish. You want 27" with 1440p and G-sync is very nice thing to have with GTX 1080.

I think a 27/28" 2560 x 1440 @ 144hz would be good. Could go for a bigger screen if you want but I think 27/28" is a good size for the pixel density. Plus you have some space to use you old monitor as a secondary display if you want.

I don't care what site says what...., can you argue the fact that small size monitor has better pixels density than big, at a same resolution....., ? Can U?

1080p only fit for 16" display...., when display getting bigger you need to rise the resolution to prevent texture fading away....., if you want cut my talk. You need to place valid logic / science for that....

That's the reason mobile phones display looks much better than TV or monitor ...., because they are small in size yet has high resolution means high pixel density....

Whatever suits your boat. Honestly, good luck trying to enjoy anything on a 20inch screen.

Sure a smaller size has better pixel density. That is about it, it does not have anything else going for it. If you want to mildly enjoy something without having your face a foot from the screen or watch something, get a bigger monitor. Recommendation dont go under 24inches.

Your last point is irrelevant because you wont use your mobile phone for watching movies or anything along the lines or gaming on your mobile phone, this is simply because the screen is too small and strains your eyes too much.

No one is preventing you from buying a 32" display but with "4k" in it.

And if you want to sacrifice picture quality to add a bigger screen , its up to you....
That's why so may models exist in the market..., some people wants better picture quality..., some people prefer bigger screen..., it's up to you...

I can argue the fact that there are limits as to wich pixel density makes SENSE for a gaming screen. Ya know there are 4K 24'' screens out there. I dare you to try and play a strategy game with a non-scaling interface on one of those. hehe.

But the sacrifice so minimal you probably wont even notice it. Besides a 24inch or a 27inch 1440p display still looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥' great.

That limit is 340ppi
human eye can't notice any difference beyond that points..., and that 340ppi tells you that 1080p is fit for only 16" screen....

I know 4k in 24 inch display is useless because it surpass 340ppi limit..., means on 24" screen- 2k and 4k will looks same...
So giving 4k to a 24 inch display is not recommended, because you won't get any better picture, instead it will shrink down the text or characters., but in a 32" display it is...

If I'm not mistaken isn't PPI something to do with printers? Also usually when resolution gets higher you want bigger screen. For example, I wouldn't buy a 4k TV because with how far away people usually sit you need a monster to even notice the difference. Computer is better for 4k since people usually sit very close to screen.
