G502 vs G402
Looking into buying a gaming mouse branded by Logitech. Opinions please.

Just depends how it feels to you, and if the buttons and such are enough for you.

For me; from Shooter games to using Photoshop... if a mouse doesn't have on-the-fly DPI switching at my finger-tips. Then it's useless to me.

G402 if you have to chose between those two

G502, I returned a g402 and got the 502. Would definitely recommend, 12000dpi sensor, super low friction feet, custom surface tuning, a clutch to disengage the clicky bit in the scroll wheel so it scrolls friction free, 11 buttons, custom weights, no other mouse compares.

In my experience, when comes to any Logitech Mice in recent years, anything below the G5xx are usually fairly low end and limited options and features.

G402 is ok for a casual PC user / casual gamer; who doesn't feel the need for any extra features. Below something like G402 is even more basic, like a cheaper mouse for kids (smaller mouse for smaller hands) or as a budget mouse for laptop users who still want a quality wired mouse for cheap.
