Headphones Cut Out Randomly
I have the hyperx cloud 2, and it randomly cuts out. All it takes ot get it working again is to unplug and replug veyr quickly, and it works again. Tried every port on the pc, so it is not a problem with the USB port being dusty or something.

Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Then it's probably the port or cable.
My 360 controller did that, I'd be playing, move the cable just right and it would cut out in game and switch to Player2. If I unplugged it for like 5-10 secs, then plugged it back in, Player1 came back again. It was a faulty wire in the cable.

USB cables are usually thin on most devices, any serious bend or crimp and you crack the wires inside; or at least maybe crimp a wire, result in a bad connection when moved just right.

Keep in mind that the build quality of gaming headsets isn't always great and they can be more prone to breaking over a good pair of studio reference headphones.

You are typically describing a fault in the cabling and this is common with gaming headsets as the cabling is lower quality. I recommend a good pair of studio headphones and DAC, they will provide much more durability and offer a better audio experience overall.

followup- straightened out the headphone cord which got very tangled and bunched up, uninstalled all drivers, and it works fine now. One of those tow things fixed it, thanks!

Headsets/Controllers; don't let the cable bind up.

Its another reason to not buy cheap headsets; buy better ones with thick gauge cables that pretty much won't bind up.
