buzzing from speakers
So whenever I boot up a game, in the menu my speakers start to buzz extremely. The game sound doesn't even have to come from the speakers, even when I'm using my headset the buzz is still there. It happens in every game.

Please help.

They plugged into the Front, Rear, where?
Usually this kind of issues is either:
- Failing Motherboard or Sound Card
- Poor ground
- Poor front case audio connection, ground, shielding

into the rear, 5.1 config. I had no problems with it before.
Could just be the Onboard Audio going bad.

Disable any other Audio Devices, such as GPU HD Audio.
Download and install latest Audio Drivers for what your Motherboard has (if onboard sound)
Or for your Sound Card. Then reboot when finished and re-config the Audio settings.

Its one or the other, not both.
That should be USB + Analog 3.5mm Jack
The Optical is for Consoles.

No the optical is for PC as well, it works fine. With my headset I don't get buzzing
So headset sound fine on Optical?
What about unplugging that optical and just using the Analog connection?
The reason is has both it because not all PCs have Optical; so you use one or the other for audio connection, not both. The USB is for power. Consoles dont have a way to do 3.5mm analog jack unless you have a way to output RCA for the audio and convert that to 3.5mm; so in general the Optical is for Consoles, but yes, it can be used on PC.

I switched my gpu from the second slot to the first and now the buzzing is gone, but the sound cuts off randomly in-game now....

EDIT: Uninstalling realtek seems to work
